Katia Butterfly

We’ve got a lovely new yarn in for a one off season this Summer. No repeat orders this is it, so grab it while you can.

Katia Butterfly is a yarn with a tweed effect, perfect for the spring/summer season. This collection offers a marbled touch of colour on a white strand, so it will bring a nice touch of colour to your garments.

This soft yarn has been specially designed for knitting summer clothes for babies and children, but it’s also recommended for knitting clothes for any member of the family.

This yarn is perfect for knitting fresh and comfortable crochet tops, dresses, sweaters, etc.

Katia Butterfly is made of:

  • 50% Acrylic
  • 50% Cotton

It’s £3.50 a ball.

The combination of these fibres will create a soft, light and fresh fabric. The cotton fibres will bring a soft and fresh touch to your clothes, while the acrylic fibres will make it a resistant fabric.

 It’s tubular ‘chainette’ shape yarn, making it a fluffy and comfortable yarn.

  • Each ball has 50 grams and 115 metres.
  • Its thickness is perfect to knit with the 4 – 4,5 mm knitting needles or the 3,5 mm crochet hooks.
  • Mount 18 stitches and do 22 laps to knit a 10 x 10 cm square.   
  • It can be washed in the washing machine up to 30ºC. 
  • Do not use the dryer. We recommend you to dry it horizontally.
  • It can be ironed at a high temperature (110ºC).

To knit a short sleeve sweater…

  • Size 3 months, you will need 1 ball.
  • Size 6 – 12 months, you will need 2 balls.
  • Size 18 – 24 months, you will need 3 balls.

To knit a short sleeve sweater…

  • Kids – size 2 – 4 years, you will need 3 balls.
  • Kids – size 6 – 8 years, you will need 4 balls.
  • Kids – size 10 years, you will need 5 balls.

To knit a short sleeve sweater…

  • Adult (women) – size 42, you will need 8 balls.
